Digital receipts
Create receipts manually, from OCR, or from the Wasl Device while the normal printer flow continues.
Wasl works alongside the merchant's existing POS and printer. The paper receipt still prints, customers tap to save the digital receipt, and merchants get sales, wallet, and operational insights.

What Wasl does
Create receipts manually, from OCR, or from the Wasl Device while the normal printer flow continues.
Customers save receipts, reopen their wallet at trywasl.com/wallet or /me, and keep return or warranty notes in one place.
A fixed counter NFC/QR tile opens the latest receipt without rewriting tags per transaction.
Customers can ask about totals, VAT, return policy, expense notes, and receipt summaries within fair-use limits.
Track sales captured, average basket, VAT totals, top items, payment mix, peak times, wallet saves, and branch performance.
Create receipt-based loyalty rules such as stamp cards, spend rewards, service discounts, and reviewed local spending incentives.
Wasl does not replace the POS. It adds the missing layer after checkout: receipt recovery, customer wallet saves, and practical sales intelligence.
Reduce printing
Cut paper rolls, ink, and manual duplicate receipt requests.
Retain customers
Turn every receipt into a wallet touchpoint and future engagement signal.
Track warranties
Help customers find warranty and return details without calling the branch.
Understand performance
See item, branch, payment, VAT, and wallet-save trends without replacing your POS.
The Wasl Device is designed to sit beside the existing checkout flow. The cashier keeps printing normally, while Wasl prepares the digital receipt, QR/NFC tap flow, wallet save, PDF, and analytics layer.
No POS software change
Works toward printer-side receipt capture instead of replacing the sales system.
Static NFC/QR stand
One counter tile opens the latest receipt; no per-receipt tag writing.
Staff-friendly fallback
If Wasl is unavailable, the merchant keeps normal paper printing.
Pilot metrics
Device health, tap status, receipt quality, and support issues are visible to admins.
Wasl is an added receipt layer, not a POS replacement. The cashier keeps the familiar checkout flow while Wasl creates the customer-facing digital receipt.
No POS replacement
The merchant keeps the current POS, payment process, and cashier workflow.
Paper receipt still prints
The customer can still receive the normal printed receipt.
Wasl Device creates the digital version
The Wasl Device captures the receipt flow and sends the structured digital receipt to Wasl Cloud.
Customers tap, save, recover, and return later
A fixed NFC/QR counter stand opens the latest receipt and lets customers save it to their wallet.
Merchant gets engagement and retention analytics
The merchant sees taps, views, wallet saves, PDF downloads, assistant usage, and support signals.
A POS records the sale. Wasl keeps the receipt useful after the sale, gives customers a reason to return, and gives merchants visibility into what happens after checkout.
No POS replacement
Keep the existing POS, printer, cashier flow, and payment process.
Better customer service
Customers can find receipts, PDFs, return proof, and warranty notes without calling the branch.
Measurable engagement
See taps, views, wallet saves, downloads, assistant usage, and support issues.
Future-ready device
The Wasl Device can capture printer receipts without changing POS software.

Wasl Rewards starts with merchant-owned rules: stamp cards, spend thresholds, service rewards, and approved partner campaigns. Larger partner or government programs can use opt-in eligibility such as local receipts above BHD 10, with anonymized reporting and legal review before launch.
Wasl does not operate public prize campaigns by default. Any public draw, financial promotion, government-linked campaign, or consumer incentive requires legal, consumer protection, data protection, and regulator review before launch.
Partner programsMerchant rewards
Coffee stamps, bike service rewards, accessory discounts, and receipt-based offers can be created by the merchant.
Auditable eligibility
Each entry or reward is tied to a verified receipt, rule, timestamp, and anonymized reporting trail.
Local spending push
Partners can promote in-store Bahrain/GCC purchases using clear eligibility rules such as receipt totals above BHD 10.
Partner-ready
Banks, payment companies, malls, and public programs can sponsor reviewed campaigns without exposing private wallet data.
